What is Fresh Start Circle?

Fresh Start Circle is my personal philosophy that life will stay on the same track and move through the same cycles until you decide to adjust course. You have the power within you to shift to a new cycle and begin again. Usually the itch to make a big life change is my signal to reflect on what is truly not working for me and what I want to change. Not every fresh start has to be a big leap; sometimes it’s as simple as taking a new breath or making a different choice.

The circle represents the ongoing nature of growth. Our personal growth is something we continuously tend, reassess, and evolve. Fresh Start Circle exists to support you through every urge for change through health & wellness coaching, yoga, and a supportive community of fellow fresh start seekers.

What is Health & Wellness Coaching?

Health coaching is a collaborative process where the coach and client (you and I) partner to set goals, commit to action steps, and establish accountability in building a customized healthy lifestyle. "Healthy" looks different to everyone, so we will work together to identify what a healthy lifestyle looks like for you and build a plan to work towards that vision.

Health is multifaceted, and goes beyond the body. My approach to coaching is to use the body as a tool to uncover opportunities for change in the rest of your life, too. By looking at movement, nourishment, stress management and more, we can build sustainable habits that support you in this chapter of your life.

Georgia Port

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me! I am a health coach and yoga teacher based in Portland, OR. I am a certified 200-Hr yoga teacher through bodyRIOT and Integrative Nutrition Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I am also on the way to receiving my health coaching board certification from the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaches.

I'm most productive in the winter and on rainy days, and I love a good 30-day January challenge to reset at the beginning of the year.
